Pedro Martínez, first coach with two titles with Valencia Basket men’s team

Until yesterday afternoon, the seven titles won by Valencia Basket men’s pro team had had seven different protagonists occupying the first seat on the taronja bench. With the Endesa Supercup trophy secured last night against Real Madrid, the eighth in the club’s history, Pedro Martínez became the first coach to win two titles with Valencia Basket men’s professional team.

The coach with the most wins with our men’s team

This past weekend brought another major statistical milestone linked to Pedro Martínez. With his triumph in the third game of the Endesa League semifinals against La Laguna Tenerife, the Valencia Basket coach equaled Miki Vukovic’s 143 victories on the taronja bench, and they shared that top spot in the club’s history until Saturday’s win in the Supercopa Endesa semifinals placed Pedro Martínez alone as the coach with the most victories with our men’s team.
